Mohamad Ali Hosseinpour Faizi Was born in Tabriz, Iran 1951. He is graduated with a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Tabriz (1973), an M.Sc. in Radiation biology from the University of Tehran-Iran, and Ph.D. Radiation biology in the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff-England. He has been working as Assistant Professor (1993- 1997), Associate professor (1997-2001), and Professor (2001- now) in the Department of Natural Science in the field of Biology at the University of Tabriz. He worked as a  Students Affairs vice –  president university of Tabriz (1987-1990), The Head of the Faculty of Science Faculty(1990-1991), President of the University of  Tabriz University(1991-2002), and Chairman Research and Technology Park in East Azerbaijan Research and Technology Park(2002-2016) in East Azerbaijan Research and Technology Park.
