Ahmad Jahangiri is a Professor of Earth Sciences. He is graduated with a B.Sc. in Geology from

University of Tabriz, M.Sc. in igneous Rocks Geology from Tabriz University and Ph.D. from

Bangalore University, India. He was supervisor of several Ph.D. and M.Sc. students. His major interests include application of petrology, geochemistry and mineralogy to study the geodynamics of the Earth crust, mantle petrology and geochemistry of environments.
