He is graduated with a B.Sc. in Geology from University of Tabriz, M.Sc. (2002) and Ph.D. (2012) in Economic Geology from University of Tabriz. He has got a visiting scholar position at the Institute of Mineralogy and Economic Geology, RWTH University Aachen, Germany (Mar. 2010 -Oct. 2010). Dr. Siahcheshm has research experience as a Visiting Professor at the Sorbonne Université, CNRS, Institut des Sciences de la Terre de Paris (ISTeP), Paris, France (2019-2020). He was supervisor of several Ph.D. and M.Sc. students. He is a member of European Geosciences Union (EGU). His research interests are ‘Porphyry & Skarn ore deposits’, ‘Fluid inclusions study’, ‘Geochemistry of trace & REEs’ and ‘Environmental geochemistry’.
