Rahim Kadkhodaie-Ilkhchi was born in Tabriz, Iran, 1981. He received the B.Sc. degree in the Geology from University of Damghan (2005), M.Sc. & Ph.D. degree in Sedimentology and Sedimentary Petrology from University of Tehran (2008) and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (2015), respectively. He has visited Aarhus University, Denmark, for about 8 months in 2013 for completing his PhD thesis under supervision of Prof. Henrik Friis. He is an assistant professor in the University of Tabriz, Department of Earth Sciences. Rahim has hold Sedimentology and Stratigraphy courses for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students in that department, from 2017 until now, and has advised and supervised the thesis of M.Sc. students. With more than 10 years of experience, he has been a consultant and executor of industrial projects in Iranian oil companies such as Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (2011 up to now), Nargan Amitis Energy Development Company (2017-2018) and Petroleum Institute of Tehran University (2016).Rahim has published many articles in international and national journals and attended many international and national conferences. He is a reviewer of Journal of Petroleum Science and Gas Engineering, Journal of Geophysics and Engineering, Journal of Engineering and Technology Research, Journal of Tethys, Journal of Petroleum Research, and Journal of Applied Sedimentology. His interest’s fields are Reservoir Characterization, Petroleum Geology, Basin Analysis, and Geochemistry. |
