Fatemeh Mesbahi was born in Tabriz, Iran, 1980. She is an Assistant Prof. in Tectonics. She is graduated with a B.Sc. in Geology from University of Tabriz, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Tectonics from Tarbiat modares University. She has visited Potsdam University, Germany, for 6 months in 2012, for completing her PhD thesis. She was supervisor of several M.Sc. students. She has taught geology courses for undergraduate and graduate students. She has many articles in international and national journals and conferences. Her major interest fields are Structural geology analysis of brittle and ductile deformation zones, Global Tectonics, Tethyan related geology, Neotectonics, Geological hazards.
